The upper Delaware River is a beautiful stream consisting of the Delaware River East Branch , Delaware River West Branch, and the Main Delaware River.
This is Trout country with beautiful Brown Trout and hard fighting wild Rainbow Trout. Both species are eager to take the many different May Fly hatches that are abundant here throughout the year. The specific hatches will be dependant upon the time of year and section of river being fished. There are always plenty of Caddis as well as Hendrickson's, March Brown's, Sulpher's, Green Drake's, Blue Winged Olives and others. If nymphing is your thing there are plenty of opportunities for that as well.
